Bowl for Kids' Sake 2010, April 17th, HAFB Desert Lanes, 1-5 pm
The BFKS community thank-you celebration for our supporters brings individuals, teams, and corporations together for a day of fun, food and bowling. Anyone can participate during the fund-raising campaign. Interested bowlers form teams of five and solicit pledges from family, friends, and colleagues. Each bowler attempts to raise at least $100 in contributions and pledges. All of the proceeds go towards expanding the BBBS programs. Why Bowl For Kids' Sake? We get results. Being matched in one of our programs makes a difference in a child's life. We have received a "Top Rating" from Charity Navigator for efficient use of donations. BBBS ranks in the top 1% of non-profit organizations. The stresses on families during this economic crisis create even more need for our programs. What is Bowl For Kids' Sake? It is Otero County's number one campaign for kids. It is the largest single fundraiser for Big Brother Big Sisters and is among the largest such events in the country.
