January Match of the Month Carol Matthews and her Little Brother, Garrett, have been matched since December 2006, when Garrett was in the second grade. Garrett enjoys their match because “Carol is nice and very fun!” He likes her to help him with Reading and Math. Carol helps him complete assignments; she reports that he has improved in all subjects over the years. Corinth Baptist Church Laymen & MacDonald's Carol says that being a Big Sister fits into her schedule “just fine.” Being matched in the S.T.A.R.S. school-based program takes just 1 hour a week!
