Big of the Quarter Oct 09 - Dec 09 Raul Perez, Jr. Raul has been a Big Brother since 1/29/07. He’s been matched with several Littles over the years, and is currently matched with two Little Brothers. Raul has been matched in the S.T.A.R.S. school-based program with Miguel for three years. Miguel is now in the fifth grade; Raul says that they have an “outstanding connection.” Miguel reports that he is a better reader as a result of their Match. When asked what his perfect match would be, Miguel said that “it would be fun and cool – like the one I have!” Raul thinks that being matched with Miguel is “ideal!” Raul is matched with Kaden in the community program! Kaden’s mom says that he’s “more sure of himself” and that “they are wonderful together!” Kaden likes that Raul helps him “with sports always.” Raul and his wife, Stacy, support all of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Otero County’s fundraising and match activities, including our Bowl For Kids’ Sake Fundraising Campaign! |
