Heather has been a Big Sister for more than one year in the community based program. Her Little Sister, Aliyah, especially likes Heather because Heather is always happy and has helped Aliyah to be in “better moods.” Aliyah also enjoys having someone to talk to! In addition to her own match, Heather is also “matched” with her husband’s Little Brother, Mark, while Ronnie is deployed. The three of them marched in the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade and helped Big Brothers Big Sisters of Otero County carry the parade banner! Heather also helps recruit volunteers from Holloman Air Force Base, where she works! |
