FRIENDSHIP, ACTIVIES, HAPPY FACES! JUST 4 HOURS! JUST 4 HOURS! We need your support to help us reach our goal of matching every child who wants and needs a helping hand! Make a difference in the life of a child aged 6-14 by engaging in one of our two programs. Our partners in helping often say they receive far more back than they give. S.T.A.R.S. is a school-based program. Adults (BIGS) meet once a week for just one hour at school with a student (LITTLE) who needs extra help with an academic subject or a social skill, or just a new friend. In our comunity-based program, a Big is matched with a LITTLE based on common interests. Matches meet out in the community to ride a bike, see a movie, cook something good, go fishing or any activity that they both enjoy. Get active, pitch in, give time, be special to someone special!
